Guys, This is the very largest topic in LCD/LED TV repairing so we will follow every step one by one In this article. So lets start.

Sometimes LCD/LED TV backlight blinks and suddenly turned off. If the TV set is ready and on but the LED Backlight is not glowing. Then this issue can be solved by removing the protection of the Inverter IC.

When the LCD/LED TV suddenly goes to the Protection mode then to remove the protection, we want to do some adjustments with the Inverter IC in the inverter board. To do this you must have the theoretical and good practical knowledge about it which we are going to provide here.

Basically we cant tell you hole process in a few words becasue this is not the simple process. First of all you need to confirm, is your LCD/LED TV gone to protection? if yes then move forwanrd to remove it.

To do that you need to read the inverter IC numbe, it can be anything the collection of some Characters. SO n ow lets assume you have the IC number and now you wan tto remove the protection of this IC. Now, just scrol down and search the IC number in this post.

If you have found it then just see the complete process to remove the Protection of that particular IC.

OZ9938 Remove Protection

To remove the Protection of the above IC you need to follow the below process.

  • Short the Pin 3 to Ground
  • Short the Pin 6 to Ground
  • Short the Pin 7 to Ground,
  • Remove the grounding resistance

OZ960 Protection Remove

To remove the protection of OZ960 IC you need to short the pin number 2 to ground.

TL494 Remove Protection

We can easily remove Protection of TL494 IC please short the Pin 1 and 16 to Ground. If it does not worked then again short the Pin 4 to Ground.

KA7500 Protection Pin

Short the Pin 1 and 16 to ground and the protection will be removed.

MP1038EY Protection Remove

The MP1038EY Protection Removing Procedure is very simple just Connect the Pin 2 and 11 with each others and the Protection will b removed.

TA9687GN Protection Remove

To remove the protection please connect the 47K Resistor from Pin 12 to Ground.

SEM2005 Remove Protection

Connect the Pin 1 to the LED. Or Short the Pin 1 from 82K resistor to Ground.

SEM2006 Remove Protection

You can remove the SEM2006 IC Protection easily. Just short the Pin 5 to Ground.

SEM2107 Remove Protection

Short the Pin number 21 to the LED to remove the protection of SEM2107 IC.

SS1091ASN Remove Protection

Short the Pin 19 to LED.
